What we carry for Zebra
This is a supplies page, not a printer page. We stock the cleaning kits for the Zebra ZXP Series 3 and Series 7 because plenty of the offices we look after run a Zebra alongside a Fargo or a Magicard, and the kit is the part that runs out.
Which ZXP kit you need
The two kits are not interchangeable. The 105999-302 is cut for the ZXP Series 3, and the 105999-701 is cut for the ZXP Series 7. The model number is on the label on the back of the printer. Read it off the label rather than going by the shape of the case, because the two generations look similar from the front.
When to run a cleaning cycle
The same rule applies to a Zebra as to any other card printer: run a cycle at every ribbon change, and sooner if the room is dusty or the card stock lives in an open drawer. Dust is what puts a white line down the middle of a finished badge, and once it reaches the print head you are buying a head instead of a kit.
