What Card Access is

Card Access is our own line of proximity cards and key fobs. They are built to work with the readers you already have rather than to carry a manufacturer's badge, and they cost less per card than the branded equivalent. Genuine HID stock is listed separately under HID Fargo if your policy requires it.

Formats we program

These ship programmed, not blank. We encode 26 bit H10301, which is the format most sites run, and 37 bit H10304 for larger installations, both to your facility code and your card range. The key fobs carry the same formats as the cards, so one credential type can cover doors and gates.

Cards or key fobs

Same credential, different shape. A card sits in a badge holder or on a lanyard, so it can carry a printed photo and a logo and double as visible ID. A fob goes on a keyring, which suits drivers, contractors and anyone who is not going to wear a badge. Both read at the same distance on the same readers, so you can issue whichever fits the person and keep one format across the site.

Compatible, not cloned

26 bit H10301 is an open format, which is why more than one manufacturer can build a credential that a standard reader accepts. Card Access cards are made to that published standard and programmed to your numbers. They are not counterfeits of anyone else's product, and they carry no other manufacturer's markings.

What we need from you

The format, the facility code and the starting card number. All three are readable off a card that already works, and if you do not have them we can usually recover them from a sample. Full detail is on prox and access card programming.
