Overlay panel
The clear protective layer applied over a printed card to resist wear and fading.
The overlay (the O in YMCKO) is a thin, clear film laid over the finished print. It shields the dye from scratches, UV, and everyday handling, extending card life.

Without the overlay, dye-sublimation prints would scratch and fade quickly under daily handling. The O panel is not a substitute for lamination, for high-wear or high-security cards you still want a laminated or holographic top layer.
