Print-ready cards without the hardware

Not every organization needs a card printer on site. For a one-time batch, seasonal overflow, or a program that only reissues now and then, owning and maintaining a printer rarely pays off. Our in-house card printing service turns your spreadsheet and artwork into finished, ready-to-issue cards, printed, encoded, and shipped to your door.

We've printed cards for schools, employers, healthcare systems, associations, and events across the country since 1984. Send us the data and design; we handle the rest.

What we produce

  • Full-color, single- or dual-sided PVC ID cards
  • Photo employee IDs and student badges
  • Membership, loyalty, and gift cards
  • Event, visitor, and contractor credentials
  • Access cards printed and encoded to your system

Encoding and personalization

Cards can do more than look good. We encode magnetic stripes and program HID access credentials, HID Prox, iCLASS SE, iCLASS SR, and SEOS, to your facility code and format so they badge in on day one. We also add barcodes and QR codes, sequential card numbering, signature panels, and slot punches for lanyards and reels. (We program HID credentials only, not generic MIFARE or non-HID smart chips.)

How it works

  • Send us your data and artwork, a spreadsheet of cardholders (Excel or CSV) plus your design and any photos.
  • We proof it so the layout, data, and encoding are right before we run the batch.
  • We print and encode full-color cards and write any magnetic stripe or HID credential.
  • We QA and ship the finished cards to you, ready to hand out.

Who uses in-house printing

In-house printing fits any organization that would rather not own a printer: schools and universities, corporate and enterprise offices, healthcare, government, hospitality, and associations. It's also a smart backup when your own printer is down or can't keep up with a rush.

Turnaround and reorders

Send us your file and we handle printing, encoding, and shipping. For ongoing programs we can store your template and cardholder format so reordering is effortless, just send the new names and we run the next batch. Need it fast? Tell us your deadline and we'll tell you what's possible.

FAQ

Card Printing Service questions.

Do I need to own a printer to use this service?
No, that's the point. You send us the cardholder data and artwork and we print, encode, and ship finished cards. No hardware, supplies, or maintenance on your end.
What do you need from us to print a batch?
A spreadsheet of your cardholders (Excel or CSV), your card design or the details to build one, and any photos. If cards need encoding, we'll also confirm your credential type, facility code, and numbering.
Can you encode access cards, not just print them?
Yes. We program HID Prox, iCLASS SE, iCLASS SR, and SEOS credentials to your facility code and format, and encode magnetic stripes. We program HID credentials only, not generic MIFARE or non-HID smart chips.
Is there a minimum order?
No hard minimum, we handle everything from a small batch to thousands of cards. Volume pricing kicks in on larger runs.
How fast can we get them?
It depends on the run size, encoding, and shipping, but we move quickly. Tell us your deadline when you request a quote and we'll confirm turnaround.
Can you keep our design on file for reorders?
Yes. We store your template and format so future runs just need the new cardholder data, no rebuilding the card each time.
