Blank card
Unprinted card stock ready to be printed and/or encoded.
Blank cards come in plain PVC or with technology built in (mag stripe, prox, smart chip) so you can print and issue them.

Blank does not always mean plain, a blank card can already contain a magnetic stripe, prox antenna, or smart chip that you then print on and encode. Order the technology built into the card up front; you cannot add a chip later.
