In-house card printing
Design your cards
Lay out a badge the way you want it, see the print guides as you go, and send the finished design to us to print. No account, no software to install, no obligation.
Start from
Minimum order is 100 cards. What you build here is a visual mock-up for agreeing on the direction, not a production proof.
Drag anything to move it. The handles resize it. Arrow keys nudge one millimeter, hold shift for a tenth. Delete removes the selected item, and Ctrl+Z undoes. Gold lines mean it has snapped to the card center, the safe area, or another item. The photo box and any field marked in the panel are filled in later from your list, so nothing needs uploading here. Nothing prints until we send back a production proof and you approve it.
What happens after you send it
Want a head start? Our ID card templates show each starting layout front and back, and open here ready to edit.
Your design reaches us as a proof image plus the full written spec and the artwork, so nobody here has to rebuild it from a description. We come back within 24 to 48 hours with a price and a lead time. Minimum order is 100 cards.
The preview on this page is a visual mock-up so we can agree on the direction. It is not a production proof. Before anything prints we send back a production proof, and that is the one you sign off on. Nothing goes on a printer until you have.
If your cards are different for each person
Mark the boxes that change per person, give each one a name, and leave them empty. The builder fills them with sample values so you can see the card, and it warns you when a box is too small for the longest name it will have to hold, which is the mistake that normally gets found after a hundred cards are printed.
The list of names and the photos come afterwards, not here. We send you a short guide when we reply, because the one rule that matters is worth explaining properly: every photo file is named with the ID number and nothing else. Two people called John Smith produce two files that cannot both exist, and one of them quietly gets the wrong face.
What we need from you, and what we do not
We need your artwork and your logo. We do not need your roster, your spreadsheet, or your photographs at this stage, and this page will not ask for them. Personnel data has no business crossing a public form.
Not sure in-house printing is the right call at your volume? Our card printing service covers sending the work out, and the printer finder narrows down a machine if you would rather run it yourself.
Would rather just talk it through?
Call 630-739-6546 and tell us what the cards are for. We have been specifying this since 1984.
