About the Genuine Fargo YMCKO Color Ribbon #45610 for Fargo DTC1500

This is the genuine HID Fargo 45610 ribbon for the DTC1500. YMCKO means five panels: yellow, magenta and cyan for the color, a resin black panel for sharp text and barcodes, and a clear overlay that seals the finished card against handling and daylight. One roll prints 500 cards.

It fits the DTC1500 and nothing else. Fargo ribbons carry a chip the printer reads to identify the roll, so a ribbon built for another model will not run even where it fits the cassette. If you are not certain which Fargo you have, the model is on a label on the back of the machine, or send us the serial number and we will identify it for you.

Clean the printer when you change the ribbon. HID recommends it with every roll, and the 86177 cleaning kit covers the DTC1500.
